Another Creep Surfaces
.
Mark Foley, Ex-Congressman
This guy was supposed to head the caucus to protect children. HA!
We've probably all seen this list before. It's vague and undated, but we get the idea:
29 members of Congress have been accused of spousal abuse,
7 have been arrested for fraud,
19 have been accused of writing bad checks,
117 have bankrupted at least two businesses,
3 have been arrested for assault,
71 have credit reports so bad they can't qualify for a credit card,
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges,
8 have been arrested for shoplifting,
21 are current defendants in lawsuits,
And in 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving, but released after they claimed Congressional immunity. (from Capitol Hill Blue)
So, why do parents trust these guys with making their teenagers into Congressional Pages?
We should cancel the Page program, and replace them with cops.

Greg, thanks for the visit to my site. I stole the quote by Edison from a site called Wordsmith. After I posted it, someone posted a comment there that the statement was true when Edison said it, but that later in his life he was involved in weapon's creation.
Foley is scum. If I had kids at the age to become pages, I'd steer them far away from that idea! YOu are right; they should demolish the program and use grown men.
