Time to Lose?

.

Kissinger

Just a short while ago, Henry Kissinger said winning is the only good exit strategy from Iraq.

Now he says we can’t win in Iraq.

This retread import also told Nixon we couldn’t win in Vietnam.

We gotta stop listening to this guy. He is turning us into losers. Besides, his thick un-American accent is annoying.

If we listen to him, should we also bring back Carter to negotiate the end?

Carter

He did such a number on us in Iran.

I still wonder what would have happened had we run F-14 Eagles down mainstreet with the burners on. Day and night. For a few months.

Carter was, er IS a spineless tool. Along with (toss a cat hit a politician/take your pick) the folks running the Iraq "war" on terror.

You think America will ever learn that war isn't a fleeting whimsy to be directed by political means?

    Because I don't.

    Bring back War Bonds.

Makes sense. He was instrumental in the Congressional betrayal of U.S. troops in Vietnam, now he's itching to do the same for Iraq War vets.

    ParaTed, just right.

Stew, a number of F-14 thoughts come to mind:

    1. Hotshots and Topper Harley at 12th and Main.

    2. Rag heads with smoldering turbans.

    3. Belushi in 1941 flying down Hollywood Boulevard.

    Let's do it!

I just read that Kissinger came here from Germany in 1938.

    He's been here 68 years!

If you've been here 68 years, and you still talk like you fell off the turnip truck yesterday, there can be only one reason: You talk alla the time, and you never LISTEN!
