Jobs I Don't Want
Italy has had a lot of snow this year. Italians – usually a shy and retiring lot, as you can see on The Sopranos – have taken to complaining about the way the government has, or hasn’t, handled the white stuff. Some people were trapped for days in an unusually strong snowfall in southern Italy.
The opposition accused Transport Minister Pietro Lunardi of failing to deal with the problem and called on him to resign. But Lunardi rejected such nit picking and said Italians should stop complaining. "We need to cure the Italians of their childish illness -- moaning," he told Libero newspaper.
I haven’t seen his resume on Monster.com yet, but unlike some frustrated Italians, I have patience.

Does Italy usually get snow? It seems like the weather has gone so bonkers that places are having to deal with weather they don't usually have.
If you don't usually have that kind of weather, chances are you won't have the equipment to remove it. And its really useless to buy a lot of snow removal equipment if you only use it once every 10 years.

Yes, other countries complain ab out the weather, too!
Brenda, I checked it out. Italy has a lot of snow in the north (about 100 cm now, maybe a 20' base at the ski resorts), near the Alps; but snow is rare in the south. They were caught 'il pancako pedo' (flat footed).
