Happy Birthday

.

Goldie Hawn, the giggling girl on Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In", has turned 60.

Another "Laugh-In" alumna is Lily Tomlin, who cracks wise as the President's secretary on "The West Wing".

I am now feeling elderly.

Makes me feel old too, Greg. And I wish I looked as good at my age as Goldie does at hers!

I know what you mean. Lily Tomlin has worked at her craft, I think. I think that Goldie more worked at... being Goldie.

makes me feel elderly too, but isn't it fun to remember that silly show?

OptyMyst, yes, it is fun. It was silly, but it kept moving right along. Arte Johnson, Jo Anne Worley, Henry Gibson, and on and on.

I can remember seeing Laugh In on TV but I was too young to get the jokes. I remember the Smothers Brothers too.

old, yes, but I'd rather be this age than have missed the 60's :D

Between Laugh-In, Smothers, and early Sat. Nite Live...them were the days...

you know you're old when you can't get the word verification right the first time...

Wow, Brenda! I was only feeling elderly until I realized I got the jokes. Now, I feel antique!

Anna, that's the same feeling I had, somewhere underneath my senility.

Kathryn, the 60's were great even without hallucinogens. As to word verification, those are made by 60's types who USED hallucinogens!
