Wild Pitch?

.

Posted by Picasa

Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle crashed his plane into a Manhattan apartment building yesterday, killing himself and an instructor pilot.

Please note that it happened on 10/11.

The plane entered two apartments, then fell down to the street below.

We'd have to call that one "high and inside".

Charles Schummer, the Jeff to Hillarity's Mutt in the New York delegation to he U.S. Senate, has weighed in on the airplane crash:

"...Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., ... asked the FAA on Thursday to require anyone flying near Manhattan to be under the supervision of air traffic controllers.

"A smart terrorist could load up a small, little plane with biological, chemical or even nuclear material and fly up the Hudson or East rivers, no questions asked," said Schumer."

OK, so now, being under control of an air controller, Abdul Hassan Al-Jawarhi will NOT carry a small nuke from Kim Jong-Il? Or they will just answer all questions, honestly?

Hey, Chuck: Say that again, and go slowly this time.
