Assisted Suicide

.
Controversy in the new Supreme Court already: Oregon's assisted suicide law is up to the Supremes again.

The Bush administration went after Oregon under Ashcroft's tenure. Personally, I am against suicide, but I am also against intruding on a person's personal decisions as long as they don't interfere with someone else's rights.

If Oregon is convinced their law is safe, protects the feeble minded and the young and everyone else, and is humanitarian, maybe it needs some testing to prove to everyone that it's a good idea.

I happen to have a list of notorious individuals, in government, formerly in government, in the news, some just generally in the way. You may have a list of your own. We can send these folks to Oregon, and they can test the law for us on live TV. Give 'em all the assistance they need. No, I did not say I expect them to "volunteer". We just volunteer them. Then, after ten or twenty or a hundred some tests, we can throw the Oregon law out on its ear, bury our mistakes and go back to normal.

I was always against assisted suicide till my mother got so sick. There can come a point where your mind is gone and your body isn't going recover...and your heart still won't stop beating. When you actually start to decay but you're not dead yet. Its unbelievably hard to witness. I'm totally for it in these kind of cases.

P.s. My verification word is incredibly difficult....vgqigahy.
No fair having the "g" and "q" beside each other!!!

Assisted suicide is a tough decision, I agree.

As to these silly codes, they appear to be making them so that the search bots of the bad guys cannot use phonics to "sound them out". Maybe they're giving the bots too much credit - or, more likely, just requiring a string of any letters. They could make it all a little easier by requiring a vowel after every consonant.

How about assisted suicide for spammers? I think we should really all pitch in and help them. Commit suicide that is.

    Myself excluded of course ;)

Stew, your "spam" was funny, not obnoxious. Besides, having spammers commit suicide would be a shame: takes all the fun out of retribution!
