The Best Trailer Park Dog

.
Here is Lacy in Big Easy (the trailer) this morning. After her walk, and before her breakfast.

This IS my smile!

She's very patient.
She likes to stretch out on the couch and snooze while I am at work.

What's that sound?

It's nice that the trailer is so big - she can run around and chase after things.

Yes, a Milkbone! Posted by Picasa

For dinner, she gets Eukanuba Low Fat for Large Breed Dogs with her chicken breast, and a mix of Milkbones for breakfast. I used to make Milkbone, so I know it's great for her.

She's a wonderful friend!

You made Milkbones? Tell us about it.

OMG she's the best! The world's most-traveled dog. The highways and by-ways of the U.S. of A. are her home.

And if anybody calls her Trailer Trash they are going to have to deal with me!!!!! ;)

Isn't there something about how dogs look like their owners after a while?

    HaHA! Just kidding.

She's a cutie. It sucks that you can't really get a feel for her personality from pictures though.

Brenda, you're right: not trash, and well traveled.

Stew, I wouldn't mind looking like her, but if she starts looking like me, we'll need a bigger truck.

Judy, made Milkbone in Buffalo, NY with Nabisco. One of my plant managers there would pick up a Milkbone as it came out of the oven, and chew on it to test that is was very hard, very chewy and good flavor. We formulated it to be safe for human consumption, since kids and poor people eat them. The ingredients are not disgusting - including as much vitamins and minerals as breakfast cereal! They contain:

wheat flour, wheat bran, beef meal and beef bone meal, wheat germ, milk, beef fat preserved with tocopherols, salt, minerals (dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, ethylenediamine dihydriodide (source of iodine)), brewers dried yeast, dried cheese, malted barley flour, poultry liver digest, sodium metabisulfite (dough conditioner), vitamins (choline chloride, dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), vitamin a acetate, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, vitamin b12 supplement, d-activated animal sterol (source of vitamin d3)) natural flavor

Remind me to tell you about the first industrial microwave I put in the plant, to dry the Milkbones, and what it did to the Buffalo airport!

That is one darned cute dog. (Even though I did a snarky post that mentioned trailer parks, some of my best friends -- and their dogs -- live in them. I really don't think trailer parks would want me around, quite frankly, what with me being a cranky reader and writer and all.)
